2018經典道上-傳統與創新書法展

2018《經典道上》30周年特展在國立中正紀念堂第一展廳。這項展覽內容包括傳統和線性抽象表現作品，不論是書或非書，個人創作、集體創作，都是懷著典雅與人文並進、快樂進取的態度，心靈是充實的、愉悅的。展出作品涵蓋篆、隸、楷、行、草不同面貌、不同情性，有平面、有立體、有裝置、有拼貼、書法抽象表現等總共約120件作品。

In 2018, an exhibition entitling “‘En Route to the Classics’ – A Calligraphy Exhibition: Tradition and Innovation’” was held at the Chiang Kai-Shek Memorial First Exhibition Hall. For all the artworks in this exhibition, whether they are considered as traditional or linear abstract, with ‘recognizable’ or ‘non-recognizable’ Chinese characters, individual’s or collective creations, we have always approached our artwork with caution, step by step, and with a demand for elegance and refinement. At the same time, we have also made sure that all our artworks contain cultural and humanity attributes. In this exhibition, approximately over one hundred and twenty pieces of artwork are displayed, covering a variety of calligraphic styles and scripts, e.g. seal, clerical, standard, running and cursive scripts, illustrating different features, dispositions, temperaments and expressions. Some other forms of artworks e.g., flat planes, three-dimensional, installation, and collage art, are also on display. Each of the members who has participated in this exhibition has employed a dignified and prudent attitude in creating their artwork, and although we know there is still room for improvement, we are happy to see that all the members have an enjoyable experience in their learning and creative process and that their hearts are constantly full of high spirits.
